From Stocking Stuffers to Serious Splurges: Holiday RV Gifts

Published on November 25, 2025

I may be dating myself here, but do you remember when holiday shopping meant digging into the Sears catalog, dog-earing pages, and circling the coolest gifts you could dream of? Parents, I think, would enjoy hours of peace and quiet just by handing their kids these original gift guides. Simpler times, for sure… Yet the thrill of finding just the right gift for the people we love really hasn’t changed that much—especially when it comes to picking out RV gifts that will delight the most whimsical as well as the most practical amongst us.

RVers are a rare breed, to say the least. We’re part wanderer, part minimalist, and part, “I NEED this new gadget and will find a space for it (somehow).”

Most RVers have a fondness for gear. Especially gear that makes camp life cozier, road days smoother (and safer), and adventures a bit more magical. We also deeply appreciate practical gifts that might make non-RVers raise an eyebrow. (Really? Your favorite gift is for moisture absorption?!)

With Black Friday here (already!), it’s time to celebrate the season of giving (and, TBH, receiving) and hopefully enjoy some savings at the same time. In that light, we’ve rounded up a list of top RV finds from simple stocking stuffers all the way to full-on “I really love you” splurges. (And many of them are on sale right now.)

Let’s take a wander through some of the coolest finds we’ve come across this year—whether you’re circling the top gifts for a travel buddy, partner, or perhaps a few dream items for yourself. (Quick note: Some of the RV gifts we mention in this article include affiliate links. So, if you decide to grab something we 🧡, we may earn a small commission—at no extra cost to you.)

Small Gifts, Big Smiles for Under $25

Often, the smallest gifts can make a big difference in an RV—especially since every inch counts. These RV gifts are thoughtful, smart, and totally RVer-approved.

Retro RV Salt & Pepper Shakers: Bring some personality, nostalgia, and whimsy to any RV table.

Camco Moisture Absorber: For RVers whose idea of “fun” is solving real problems (we all know at least one, right?). These affordable, practical, and strangely satisfying “gifts” battle condensation and mysterious dampness alike for more comfortable trips.

Fun, Functional, and Whimsical RV Gifts Under $50

This is the sweet spot where practicality blends with personality—useful enough to earn their spot in the RV but fun enough to feel like a gift.

Luci Original Color Solar Lantern Pick:  Glowing technicolor (red, green, blue, purple, yellow, cyan, orange, and white) + illuminating practicality on the go! Plus, it’s lightweight, light-powered, stores flats, and is super fun. All in one gift? Yes please!

Leveling Ramps: Sleeping on a slope does not lead to a good night’s sleep. Leveling ramps remove the guesswork (and grumbling) from camp setup.  These might not be the most romantic RV gift on the list, but they are the kind that will make everyone on board sleep better and happier, and that’s a big win.

Insulated Tumbler or Travel Mug: A good insulated mug is a must-have for keeping your morning coffee hot, your afternoon tea steaming, and your evening cider or cocoa warm. Bonus points if you find it in their favorite color.

For Your Favorite RVer (Or Yourself): RV Gifts Under $100

Smartwool Sock Trio Gift Box: You can never have enough good socks—even in a small space. Marino wool is warm, breathable, and supremely comfortable, and Smartwool is considered the gold standard for around the campsite, on the trail, and for those long days on the road.

A high-quality daypack (like the Patagonia Terravia 24L): If you’re looking for a gift that will get constant use, a quality daypack checks all the boxes. It can be used for everything from hikes to beach days to town explorations—heck, it can even be used for a quick trip to the grocery store.

Compact Camp Table: One thing we love most about RVing is the easy access to the great outdoors. In almost any weather, we want to spend as much time outside as possible. And not every campsite comes with an outdoor table. A small portable camp table can be used to prep food (including s’mores), as a desk, or simply a place to rest your drink.

The Big Splurges We Really 🧡

These are the RV gifts you circle when you’re dreaming big: the ones that make RV adventures that much more magnificent. They’re perfect for family gifts—for your partner or the special someone who shares your wanderlust.

Necto Pet Monitor

Neco 3-in-1 Cellular Sensor RV Pet Temperature Monitoring System (follow the link for 15% off at checkout): Pets are family too, and a temperature monitoring system isn’t just a great high-tech gadget gift. It’s the gift of peace of mind. It protects pets by making it easy to monitor temperature, humidity, and power outages in real time, so you know your adventure crew is safe and sound even when you’re not around. And if something does go off (for example, if your rig loses power), with built-in 4G LTE cellular, you’ll receive an alert right to your phone—no Wi-Fi required—so you can get back and get them to safety.

Snagging the Best Black Friday RV Gift Deals

Black Friday (and Cyber Monday) can feel like a lot. Especially if your idea of holiday time is all about relaxing with the family. (We are so with you!) Even shopping online can feel a bit like merging on the interstate during rush hour—overwhelming, chaotic, and wondering where all these people came from. What we need is a good roadmap to access the best RV gifts without a lot less stress.

To shop like a pro:

  1. Shop Early—you don’t have to wait until Friday. Many brands roll out pre-Black Friday discounts a week or even two before. So, if you see a price drop now, grab it. It won’t always drop further, and they could run out of stock.
  2. Compare Brand Sites vs. Big Retailers—prices can vary between shops, sometimes wildly. Sometimes, Amazon will have the best deal. Other times, you’ll get a better deal from the brand site. Outdoor retailers like REI and Backcountry often rotate flash sales. Opening a few tabs and shopping around is often worth it.
  3. Look for Bundles—Sometimes the deals you find won’t necessarily include a discount. Instead, they may provide add-ons. For example, a solar kit may come with extra cables. Tech devices may add accessories. Apparel may be bundled together for a discount. Yes, you may pay the same, but you’ll get a lot more.
  4. Check Return Policies—Especially on big-ticket items, you may have a tighter return window over the holidays. Make sure you have until after Christmas to return the item if your recipient doesn’t love it as much as you do (unless you’re shopping for yourself and will open it sooner).
  5. Budget for Shipping Deadlines—another reason to shop early is because holiday shipping can get messy. Check the shipped-by dates rather than assuming it’ll show up on time. That way, you can avoid having to print out a picture of the gift holiday moment.
  6. Last but not least, Experiences Can Make the Best Gifts. If looking through gear feels too commercial or too time-consuming, consider the gift of travel instead. Some of our favorites include National Park Passes, State Park Camping Nights, RV Memberships (e.g., Harvest Hosts, Good Sam, Passport America), Adventure Experiences, or Guide Tours. They’re meaningful, memorable, and take up zero RV storage.

The Best RV Gift—Time Together

While some of us still fondly remember flipping through the Sears catalog, we probably don’t remember the gifts we circled or even received. What we remember most is the time we spent enjoying the wonder and possibility, followed by the special family times around the holidays.

Today’s RV gift guide is a lot more digital, but the spirit is the same—to spark joy, fuel adventures, and make life on the road more memorable.

Remember, the very best RV gifts aren’t anything we can wrap up. It’s the time we spend with loved ones—sharing sunrises, late-night laughs around the campfire, unexpected detours, and fun stories that last long after the trip is over.
